Your Meal Planner in Prepear is the perfect tool to turn your favorite recipes into real family meals. Here’s how to use it.
To start, make sure you have some saved recipes in your Cookbook.
Open your Meal Planner from the icon at the bottom of your screen, and tap “Add a Recipe” underneath the day you’d like to plan for.
A list of your bookmarked recipes appears. Search or scroll to find the one you want. If you’ve created recipe collections, you can filter your Cookbook by tapping the bar at the top of your screen.
Tap to assign the recipe to Breakfast, Lunch, Snack, or Dinner, and that’s it! Your meal is now added to your week.
You can add more recipes to the same day by tapping the plus sign next to the date. You can even add multiple recipes to the same meal.
Sometimes dinner plans don’t require a recipe. Maybe you’re having leftovers, spaghetti night, or dinner at mom’s. You can type non-recipe meal ideas into your Meal Planner by tapping the “Quick Add” field under any date, or the lightning bolt symbol beside a date that already has a meal added to it.
Once you’re finished adding meals to your planner, glance over your plan to make sure it looks right for your week.
Swipe right on any recipe to uncover options for rescheduling, removing, or sharing your recipe.
To take the ultimate meal planning shortcut, use a meal plan that’s already done for you. This feature is available for our Prepear Gold subscribers. Tap the "Find a Plan" button in the top right corner of your screen, and browse our Marketplace to find a plan you'll love.
If you're a Gold subscriber, you can also save your current plan to use anytime you like. Tap the carrot beside the date in your meal plan, and tap the orange button to save your meal plan. Then access it with the "My Saved Plans" on the main page of your planner.
